Tiffany Jaime Head of School/Owner Early Childhood Music Teacher I attended Michigan State University and graduated with my Bachelor's in Music Education in 2003. I continued my Education and love of leadership by attending Saginaw Valley State University in pursuit of my Master's of Education in Elementary Administration while also earning my Montessori Credential through Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute. I love working with children and watching them grow and discover in such a rich environment such as a Montessori School provides. My goal in owning and heading our school is to continue to provide a loving home away from home in which children are provided freedom to discover.

Stormi Sutherland Head Teacher I attended Columbus Montessori Teacher Education Program, I am MACTE Certified and have been teaching in a Montessori Environment for 5 years. I believe the Montessori Philosophy is a beautiful method for the development of children.

Jaya Allada Assistant Teacher Yoga Instructor Reading, gardening, aerobics and yoga are my hobbies. I have been assisting Montessori teachers in this school for 9 years. Earlier I was a preschool mother, and den mother for boy scouts organization. Graduated with an associate degree, I managed mortgage accounts in a bank. I enjoy working with children and guiding them. I treat them like my grandchildren. I take delight in children learning discipline, positive attitude and good health habits.

Luz Guerra Spanish Teacher I am from Colombia, South America. I love my culture and my roots and for me it is a pleasure to share about it with the children. I have three kids and the little one was born in Brazil because we lived there for 8 years. Children always are in my heart. Their creativity, imagination and energy and especially their happiness is something magic that I want to be a part of!

In May 2009, I graduated from Central Michigan University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Interpersonal and Public Communication with a Family Studies minor. I love working with children, especially in a Montessori setting because I love watching them learn and grow.

Ashley Purdo Assistant Teacher I have enjoyed working with children as a professional and volunteer basis for many years, including community organizations such as the ambassador for the Make-a-Wish Foundation and Executive Director of the Miss Auburn/Midland Scholarship Program. I currently teach dance in Auburn and am continuing my education at Saginaw Valley State University. I am delighted to be apart of the Montessori Children’s House.

Eric Jaime Co-Owner I am Eric Jaime, co-owner of Montessori Children’s House with my wife, Tiffany. We are excited to have taken on this responsibility since 2007 and are privileged to be working alongside your children. I currently am working on my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education through Saginaw Valley State University and help out at Montessori as I can. We have three beautiful children and one on the way. I grew up in Bay City and our family now lives in Midland and we are happy to be here serving among you. We have a passion for the Montessori way and are thrilled to have invested in this school for the community and for our own personal family!

Patricia Reyes Head Teacher My name is Patricia Reyes and in 2000-2001 I attended Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute. I earned an American Montessori Society Associate Early Childhood Degree for ages 2 ½ to 6 years old. I have had the pleasure of teaching Montessori for over 12 years. I am excited to join the Montessori Children’s House family. My goal is to guide children in learning in a fun and safe prepared environment.

Tanya Searle Substitute Teacher My name is Tanya Searle. My husband and I have three wonderful teenagers. I grew up in Oregon and have moved around a bit. I have lived here in Midland for just over 2 years. I love cooking and coming up with new recipes. I even have a food blog. I also enjoy doing different craft and organizing projects. I love to read and am usually in the middle of a couple of books. I am interested in photography and have enjoyed taking some classes to develop this skill. I have worked with children of various ages throughout my career and love the insight and experiences they share with me.

Sheila Cope Substitute Teacher My name is Sheila Cope and we've lived in Midland for over 17 years - it's been a wonderful place to raise our 6 children. I'm excited to enter a new phase of parenting with our first grandchild due in March. I graduated many years ago with a degree in Graphic Design and although most of what I learned is out of date, I still prefer doing some things the old fashioned way, especially Calligraphy. My future goal is to get my masters degree in social work so that I can become a professional family counselor. I've worked with children and youth for years and look forward to helping out in this marvelous facility.

Having worked in childcare centers before, as well as volunteering at various places, I am excited to have the opportunity to gain more knowledge here in a Montessori environment being a parent of a new student at Montessori Children’s House. I grew up and currently live in Hemlock. I enjoy spending time with family, reading, gardening, scrap booking and baking.

Suprita Sehanobish Substitute Teacher Hi! I am Suprita C Sehanobish. I have a certificate of early childhood courses along with abuse and neglect, child care administration, curriculum, parent conferencing and scheduling. I also have experience working with children which I just love. I also have a Masters in Labor and Employment Law. I got my Bachelor’s in Law from India and worked as an independent lawyer for 10 years in India.
